Active survey problems: how to fix empty SSID and MAC lists in active survey config

After some Windows 11 updates users cannot select any SSIDs nor MAC addresses in the active survey configuration window because the lists are empty:

Our team had discovered that the problem could be caused by Windows 11  privacy policies: it possibly the access to SSIDs around as a location request, therefore that active survey configuration fails.  There should be a corresponding request from the system  at the first attempt of getting the data, however, if that request was missed, please configure the settings manually.

 

Go to the Settings -> Privacy and Security :

  • Location services : ON
  • Let Apps access your location: ON
  • Let Desktop applications access your location: ON
  • TamoGra[h Site Survey: ON
