When you install a new TamoGraph version on macOS, in some cases, it may be necessary to update the Wi-Fi packet capture engine. Currently, this operation is not performed automatically; it requires some simple user actions. The same actions are required when you want to completely uninstall TamoGraph and all of its components.

1. Close TamoGraph if it is running.

2. Open a new Terminal window.

3. Type "sudo su" (without quotation marks) in the window. You will be prompted to enter your administrative password.

4. Once you've successfully entered the password, type the following three commands (after typing each command, hit the "Enter" key to execute it):

launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.tamos.monitorHelper.plist
rm /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.tamos.monitorHelper.plist
rm /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.tamos.monitorHelper

At this point, the Wi-Fi packet capture engine has been completely removed. If you are uninstalling TamoGraph, that's all you need to do. If you are updating TamoGraph, simply run TamoGraph and click TamoGraph => Install WiFi Capture Engine to install the latest version of the engine:
